Our backloading alternative will generally cost our customers half their total costs when compared in price against what a ‘brand name’ removalist company would charge. The price can be so significantly different that it is sometimes astonishing just how much higher their prices are. If you book a dedicated truck you’ll typically be made to pay for at a minimum, the entire space of the truck going along your route, and if you’re unlucky, they’re factor into the cost some or all of the costs they will incur to get home.
This due to the fact that because you’re their primary booking, they don’t know what else they’ve got, so they add these costs into your booking and then look for other cheap work to make a bit of extra money.We don’t like this method, we prefer to pass on a competitive rate to all customers, and rely on a constant flow of work to keep our trucks full.
Most of the time, for more people than not, moving interstate can be stressful. There are so many things you need to line up. Sometimes unfortunately everything does line in perfectly with each other and it can be incredibly frustrating. After all this then theres the fact that you may not even have a house yet. You have to be out by a certain date, but you’ve currently got nowhere to go. This is where our storage option becomes incredibly useful. With this we can collect your goods, bring them to wherever you’re moving to, and then store them on your behalf until you’re new home is ready for them.
You might need a few things, perhaps a handful of boxes, your fridge, tv, bed, washing machine. The basics to get you going. Another alternative is that we can deliver a small list of goods to you wherever you are going to be staying, then put the rest into storage. Then once you’re ready we can deliver the rest of the goods to you. If this sounds like what you need just make a list of what will be delivered first, and what will be stored, so we can separate them when we load them onto the truck at collection.
We have customers make use of our storage system for anywhere from a few days, to weeks, or even years. How long you need to store is irrelevant, there’s always storage available.
